—  About

Joseph Epperson is a professional photographer from the beautifully rural town of Ellensburg, WA, where he resides with his wife and 2 children.

Born and raised in the Central Washington area, Joseph brings a unique eye to every situation he encounters. He feels most at home in rural areas, though he enjoys the big city lights as well. Joseph cut his teeth in the photography industry while shooting small venue music festivals, and working with the athletic department of Central Washington University. Sports was a combination of 2 great passions, where his love of all things competitive met with his joy of sharing his unique view through the lens. Anticipation is his greatest strength as he acquires the crisp, clear shot which captures the movement, grace, and mood of the moment at the peak of action.

As his techniques have advanced, so did his world view. Joseph loves to travel, and enjoys sharing his work with friends and family. His desire is to show the world as a beautiful place full of love and hope, and he knows no better way to do that than to get his hands dirty with the people he meets. He has built churches, worked with orphanages, taught photography to the Maasai tribe, worked with women transitioning out of the sex trade, and even fought to keep children in third world countries off the streets through education and after school programs.

Photography is more than just a forum to display the details he finds in the mundane, to Joseph it is an opportunity to share his unique perspective on life. To learn more about Joseph or his photography, please do not hesitate to contact him.
